Zurich: New construction project of Pensimo at Stettbach station
Near the Stettbach S-Bahn station between Zurich and Dübendorf, the investment foundations Pensimo and Turidomus are realizing a development with apartments, retail trade, retail and office space.
According to plans by Meier Hug Architekten from Zurich, two striking buildings - Stettbach Mitte - are being built with 292 rental apartments, stores, food outlets, a Migros supermarket and office space for up to 250 employees. The project kicked off on July 3, and the buildings are scheduled to be ready for occupancy in 2020/2021.
Stores and restaurants are planned for the first floors of the buildings. With the Migros Zürich cooperative, an anchor tenant has already decided in favor of the location. The retailer will build a supermarket in Stettbach Mitte.
The apartments on the upper floors are tailored to different target groups. The building right next to Bahnhofplatz will include 105 rental apartments ranging from 30 to 100 square meters. The apartments will have a loft-like layout, with large rooms and few rooms. They are aimed at singles, couples and shared apartments. In the building, which is set back somewhat, there are 187 rental apartments between 2.5 and 4.5 rooms with classic, family-friendly
Floor plans, informs Pensimo.
The two buildings with their heights of 21 and 28 meters and their location will also change the Bahnhofplatz. It will change from a place of transit to a meeting place and the center of the new quarter, writes Pensimo in a statement. In front of the two buildings is one of the busiest hubs in Zurich's transport network: the S-Bahn takes less than five minutes to Zurich Stadelhofen and twelve minutes to Winterthur. The Glattalbahn takes passengers to Zurich Airport in 24 minutes, and several streetcar and bus lines serve the surrounding neighborhoods and communities.
Pensimo Management AG realizes Stettbach Mitte for the investment foundations it manages, Turidomus and Pensimo. Investors are Swiss pension funds of various sizes. Stettbach Mitte was developed jointly by Pensimo Management and Senn Resources. Senn Construction in St. Gallen was commissioned with the realization as general contractor.
