Basel region: Hiag expands portfolio

According to a statement from Hiag, the real estate company took over the RohnerChem site as part of a sale and leaseback deal. The property covers around 32,000 square meters and is located in the immediate vicinity of Pratteln railroad station. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

With the signing of the long-term rental agreement, Rohner AG Pratteln has become one of Hiag's three largest tenants, the statement continues. According to its own information, Hiag owns properties at around 40 locations in Switzerland with a total area of 2.5 million square meters. The Group generates property income of CHF 56 million per year and is driving forward around 50 development projects. (ah)
