The Green Village will become a new international hub for businesses and organizations around the restored and renovated Ecumenical Center in the heart of Geneva's international district. The project consists of six separate office buildings with a total of 43,000 square meters of office space for lease, as well as an apartment hotel and a residential building, all meeting the highest sustainability standards. Although the individual buildings of Green Village will be independent of each other, all organizations and companies will participate in the life of this site - thanks to inviting meeting places in a green environment reserved for pedestrians.

Ecological principles and sustainability in construction are key characteristics of this project. At the official presentation of the project, WCC general secretary Rev. Dr. Olav Fykse Tveit announced that all buildings of the Green Village will be named after cities where important protocols and declarations were defined at UN environmental conferences.

JLL has been mandated as the exclusive marketing partner for the Kyoto building, which is being constructed in the first phase of the project. The Kyoto property comprises around 14,000 sqm of office space, which is available in sub-areas starting at around 280 sqm. (bw)
