Bülach: Construction of the Glasi quarter draws closer
The building permit for the Glasi district in Bülach is now legally binding. Construction of the new urban quarter is scheduled to begin next spring.

According to the project developer Steiner, the building permit, which was granted by the city of Bülach on June 22, has now become legally binding. Now the execution preparations for the urban development project are to start, with construction work scheduled to begin in spring 2019.
From 2021, the first of the more than 500 apartments and over 20,000 square meters of commercial and service space should be ready for occupancy. Development partners are Baugenossenschaft Glattal Zürich, Logis Suisse and Steiner.
In addition to rental and owner-occupied apartments, the GlasiQuartier will also include space for service companies, craft businesses and restaurants. A hotel, a care center with apartments for the elderly and a crèche are also to be built. Marketing of the condominiums in the "Jade" high-rise began a few days ago. (ah)
