Rheinfelden: Salmenpark II changes hands
According to a media report, Swiss Life Investment Foundation is the new owner of the Salmenpark II residential project in Rheinfelden.
According to research by the Aargauer newspaper Mettler2Invest passed on the second construction phase of the large-scale Salmenpark project in Rheinfelden (AG) to the Swiss Life Investment Foundation. Mettler2Invest had acquired Salmenpark II from PSP Swiss Property for CHF 27.6 million about a year ago.
With the first stage of Salmenpark, PSP had realized around 150 apartments as well as retail and office space on the site of the former Salmen/Cardinal brewery. According to earlier plans, around 100 apartments are to be built in four buildings in Salmenpark II. In one of the buildings, 40 apartments suitable for the elderly are now also planned, reports the Aaargauer newspaper.
According to the report, Swiss Life has taken over the completed and approved project. Construction of the second phase is scheduled to begin next year. Swiss Life will invest a total of around 70 million in the development - including land and development costs. (ah)
