Winterthur: Laying of the foundation stone for Winty residential project
The Lucerne Pension Fund LUPK and Halter AG Gesamtleistungen laid the foundation stone on Thursday for the Winty residential and commercial development near Winterthur-Töss train station.

On the wasteland east of Winterthur-Töss train station, an elongated building with 49 rental apartments and around 530 sqm of commercial space is being built. The residential units in the Winty have 1.5, 2.5 or 3.5 rooms as well as a balcony or terrace and are aimed in particular at singles and couples.
The superstructure was designed by KilgaPopp Architekten from Winterthur; characteristic are the glazings on the south side, while the building is stepped to the north. On the eastern side is an access road and to the west the connection to the station square.
The shell is to be completed by the end of April, followed by the interior work and the construction of the building envelope, according to a statement from Halter. If everything goes as planned, Winty will be ready for occupancy from the end of January 2020. (ah)
