Zurich: a-ja City-Resort opens in Vulcano
The first a-ja City-Resort in Zurich opens on Thursday. The hotel is located in the base building of the Vulcano high-rise trio near Altstetten station.
The a-ja City-Resort is located at Vulkanstrasse 108 b in Zurich and has a total of 319 rooms, a 600 square meter wellness area with rooftop spa and a 110 square meter fitness area. The first floor is also home to Switzerland's first Nivea House with a flagship store designed by Matteo Thun. These facilities - as well as the restaurant and bar - are open not only to hotel guests, but also to external guests.
Switzerland's first a-ja Resort is located in Vulcano. The superstructure, which was developed by Steiner AG and the CSA Real Estate Switzerland investment group, has a floor area of 58,000 square meters. In addition to the hotel, there are 300 rental apartments with services as well as commercial and restaurant space. (ah)
