Zurich Invest sells residential portfolio to Akara

Zurich Invest has sold three residential properties in Zurich and Winterthur to Akara Funds. SPG Intercity acted as intermediary.

Zurich Invest AG had commissioned SPG Intercity Zurich to find a buyer for the residential real estate portfolio consisting of three properties. In a closed sales process, Akara Funds AG with its investment vehicle Akara Swiss Diversity Property Fund PK was won over as the new owner, SPG Intercity announced. Akara Diversity PK recently completed a capital increase, raising approximately CHF 194.2 million.

According to SPG Intercity, the properties are an apartment building from 1966 with 16 apartments between Goldbrunnenplatz and Triemli in Zurich's Kreis 3 district and a small apartment building from 1929 with six apartments near Zurich-Oerlikon station. The third property, a residential and commercial building from 1968 with retail and office space as well as 22 apartments, is located in the middle of Winterthur's old town. (ah)
