Bätterkinden: Development with apartments and retirement center planned
According to a media report, Senevita is planning a retirement center with around 50 places in the municipality of Bätterkinden (BE). Six apartment buildings are also to be built.

How the Bernese newspaper writes, The building permit procedure for a large development near Bätterkinden railroad station is currently underway. A retirement center and six apartment buildings are planned. The application is open to the public until December 17.
The owner of the site is a family from Utzenstorf; the total contractor is Halter AG Gesamtleistungen, and Senevita AG has been confirmed as the operator of the retirement center. According to the report, a retirement center with 40 care rooms and nine retirement apartments is to be built. Further retirement apartments are planned in two additional buildings. A total of 47 apartments are planned in the other four buildings. A parking garage will connect all the buildings.
The building permit could be issued in the first quarter of 2019. Construction is scheduled to begin in June 2019. (ah)
