Thalwil: SBB plans overbuilding near the station
SBB is planning a development east of the Thalwil (ZH) train station. The Talevo project is intended to create new working and living space.
According to SBB, retail and office space as well as attic apartments are to be built in an existing freight shed on the site east of the station. A high-quality residential development is planned next to the shed.
According to the SBB, the Talevo project is intended to promote the development of Thalwil's center. The aim is to develop and upgrade a central part of Thalwil into an attractive and lively mixed-use district.
A design plan has been drawn up for the structural part of the area around the station, which will be open to the public until the beginning of January. Among other things, the design plan will define the mix of uses and ensure urban planning and architectural quality. Other factors such as design, noise protection and the mobility concept will also be regulated. (ah)
