Zurich: Neumarkt Oerlikon to be revitalised
The Neumarkt Oerlikon shopping center will be revitalized starting next year. Halter AG has now been selected as the general contractor.
According to Privera, Neumarkt Oerlikon at Hofwiesenstrasse 350 in Zurich, built in 1978, will be revitalized starting next February. The shopping center will be completely redesigned, including the repositioning of the escalator system and the store fronts, as well as the renovation of the facade. The project is being executed and implemented by Privera and the architectural firm Walker Architekten. Owner's consultant is the company MMK with Hansjörg Pedrett, and as general contractor Halter will take the lead in work planning and execution.
Privera also reports that new leases and re-leases are progressing positively. Some important leases for Neumarkt and the desired tenant mix have already been signed and sealed. According to Privera, Lidl, the Suan Long restaurant chain and Café Bauer have already been confirmed as new tenants. (ah)
