Zuchwil: Green light for conversion of the Riverside site
The planned conversion of the Riverside site in Zuchwil is taking a major step forward. According to the owner Swiss Prime Investment Foundation, the building zone and design plan has now become legally binding.

The Riverside site on Allmendweg in Zuchwil (SO) is 170,000 sqm in size and currently serves as a business and commercial area. The property consists of 24 individual and variously sized structures; of these, 18 buildings are leased or potentially suitable for leasing.
The Swiss Prime Investment Foundation wants to transform the property into a residential and work zone for industry and commerce, the rezoning concerns about 122,000 sqm. In January, the first project stage "Residential" is to be launched with an investment volume of around CHF 60 million. Five houses with a total of 140 apartments and a parking garage with 100 parking spaces will be built.
According to Swiss Prime Investment Foundation, an investment volume of 250 million is planned in further stages, spread over the next ten years. The investment foundation intends to sell individual building sites under development and/or to build a condominium. The remaining sites are to remain the property of Swiss Prime Investment Foundation. (ah)
