Abroad: New tenants in Constance Lago
The Lago shopping center in downtown Constance, which is also popular with Swiss shopping tourists, is expanding its offering. Center manager Prelios was able to conclude lease agreements with fashion labels Marc Cain, Gant and Levi's, among others.
More than ten million visitors come to Union Investment's Lago in Constance every year, which is probably one of the reasons why the mall at the Shopping Center Performance Report by the consulting firm Ecostra for years. In this survey, chain stores from the retail, service and gastronomy sectors rate their satisfaction with the economic success of their stores in German shopping centers. With 27,500 square meters of rental space and 1,000 parking spaces, Lago is the largest shopping center on Lake Constance.
According to the center manager Prelios Immobilien Management, new, well-known tenants have been acquired in recent months, including Marc Cain, Gant and Levi's, which will move in by the second half of 2019. A number of modernization measures are also planned for this year, including the implementation of a new lighting and ceiling concept and the opening of new stores.
Existing tenants on the three floors include H&M, Zara, Massimo Dutti, Tommy Hilfiger, JOOP!, Karstadt Sports and Snipes. In addition to around 70 stores, the mall has a Cinestar cinema with nine screens, a fitness center and a food lounge with eleven cafés and restaurants. (ah)
