How the Südostschweiz reportedThe new hotel will have 100 double rooms and be positioned as a "ski-in ski-out" hotel in the three-star category. From the location on the Sils plain, the slopes and hiking trails on the mountain as well as the cross-country ski trails, bike and walking paths in the valley can be reached directly.

According to the report, the competition for a spatial and operational concept was won by a team consisting of Küchel Architects from St. Moritz, Ingenhoven Architects from Düsseldorf and bbz Landschaftsarchitekten from Bern.

As the site planned for the hotel is located in a BLN area (Federal Inventory of Landscapes and Natural Monuments), high standards had to be met in terms of site planning and design. The Swiss-German team's project impressed the jury the most in terms of the overall concept and operational aspects.

Corvatsch AG plans to present the project to the public in spring. (ah)
