Zurich: Leonardo operates new airport hotel
The Leonardo hotel group will operate the hotel, which is currently being built at Zurich Airport in the West Gate Kloten area.
The Fattal hotel group will operate a third hotel under the Leonardo brand in Switzerland. So far, the brand is represented in this country by the Alden Suite Hotel Splügenschloss Zurich and the Leonardo Boutique Hotel Rigihof Zurich - now one will be added at Zurich Airport.
The new Leonardo Hotel is currently being built in the West Gate Kloten development area. It was developed by Burgring AG Immobilien from Glattbrugg, which also plans to build an office complex directly next to the hotel.
According to a statement from the Fattal hotel group, the property will have 116 rooms, including some for permanent stays, as well as a restaurant and bar, meeting rooms, a fitness area and an outdoor terrace. The opening is scheduled for February 2020. (ah)
