Zurich region: Baxter extends lease in Portikon
The pharmaceutical company Baxter Healthcare remains a tenant in the Portikon office building in Glattpark in Opfikon. It has extended its lease until October 2025.
Baxter will thus remain the tenant of around 4,200 sqm of office space. Last year, the Portikon's second major tenant, Takeda Pharmaceuticals International, extended its lease until 2024.
Portikon is owned by Acron Swiss Premium Assets, a member of the Acron Group, in which only qualified investors in Switzerland can participate. The company was advised by CBRE Switzerland during the negotiations with Baxter.
Portikon is a Minergie-P standard building, it has a large lobby, an atrium, various conference and meeting rooms, and its own restaurant for employees and visitors. The lease renewal with the renowned pharmaceutical company Baxter confirms both the quality and the location of Portikon as a prime asset, says Peer Bender, CEO of Acron AG. (ah)
