Steinhausen: Large development in planning

According to one Report of the Lucerne newspaper The five new buildings are to be built in the center of Steinhausen, between Erliweg and Birkenhaltenstrasse. A barn located on the site will be integrated into the development. The new buildings will be three to six stories high and will mainly comprise small apartments, which will be offered as apartments for the elderly. A small hotel with 15 rooms is also planned in one of the buildings. The barn on the site is to be used as a restaurant and bar in the future.

Construction is expected to begin in October 2019, according to the report, and the construction project could be completed in the fall of 2022. (ah)
