The Danish shoe and leather goods manufacturer Ecco was founded in 1963 and now operates more than 2,200 shops and sales outlets in over 90 countries. CBRE was commissioned with the location search and lease negotiations for the company.

According to the real estate service provider, the segment in this section of Bahnhofstrasse will continue to shift towards premium/luxury. Directly opposite the new Ecco store, a showroom of the luxury car brand Genesis will soon open in the former Franz Carl Weber Haus. Other tenants, even from the upper luxury segment, are now starting to consider this location, according to CBRE.

Landolt-Arbenz will continue to run the business on Paradeplatz, at Poststrasse 10.  (ah)
