Investis launches new coworking concept
Investis is opening its first coworking space - the OurPlace project in Morges - on March 27. In addition to a total of 200 workstations, members will also be offered various services.
OurPlace is located at Rue de Lausanne 35A in Morges (VD) and covers 1,800 sqm on six floors. According to Investis, the coworking space is a pilot project - further locations are planned throughout Switzerland. The real estate group says it is targeting startups with the concept, particularly in the proptech, fintech, life sciences and technology sectors.
In addition to 200 workstations of various sizes and equipment, OurPlace also has conference rooms and a small cinema. Members will be offered various services, such as legal and financial advice. But OurPlace also wants to promote leisure activities, offering yoga and meditation classes, for example, or courses in longboarding and stand-up paddleboarding, according to a statement from Investis. Conferences, concerts and vernissages will also be held in the coworking space in the future.
According to the initiator Alexandre Bonvin, the high quality of life near Lake Geneva and the Alps speaks in favor of Morges as a location. In addition, the coworking space is easily accessible by public transport, and the campus of the ETH Lausanne is also not far away. (ah)
