Zurich: Retail areas of the Gleistribüne are leased out
The retail space in the Gleistribüne development north of Zurich's main train station is now fully leased, CBRE reports.
Together with the Gleisarena, the Gleistribüne is part of the HB-Nord project that SBB is realizing on Zollstrasse north of the tracks of Zurich's main station. The two buildings comprise apartments as well as office, retail and restaurant space. According to CBRE, the 776 sqm of retail space at Gleistribüne is now fully leased. The real estate services provider has been commissioned by SBB to find tenants and negotiate leases for the retail space at HB-Nord.
According to the announcement, Beat Heuberger Wines & Spices, furniture and home accessories retailer Eloni, a nail salon, grocery store Chez Mamie, smartphone and computer retailer Revendo, and e-bike retailer M-Way will open stores in Gleistribüne this fall 2019. There will also be a branch of the Hug bakery and a kiosk.
The tenant mix appeals not only to residents from the neighborhood but also to customers from other areas of the city, says Domilk Mannhart, Consultant Retail Agency at CBRE Switzerland. (ah)
