Spreitenbach: Limmatspot development opened
The Limmatspot development by Mettler2Invest and UBS in Spreitenbach has been officially opened. New residential space and a multiplex cinema have been created.
Almost three years after receiving the building permit, the Limmatspot development in Spreitenbach has now been opened. The result is 195 apartments, restaurant and commercial space, as well as a multiplex cinema with ten auditoriums. The largest cinema hall holds up to 500 people and can be converted into a town hall with a stage.
The Limmatspot is located in the immediate vicinity of Shoppi Tivoli and Ikea, and opposite the planned Tivoli Garten development.
The project was developed by Mettler2Invest. The UBS Sima real estate fund acquired the superstructure in June 2016. The investment volume for the project was estimated at around CHF 142 million at the time.
According to a report by the Badener Tagblatt 120 of the 195 apartments are already rented. The cinema is scheduled to open on May 9. (ah)
