Zurich: Watch brand Panerai comes to Bahnhofstrasse
According to media reports, the watch brand Officine Panerai of the Geneva-based Richemont Group will open a boutique on Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich by the end of June.
How, among other things, the Handelszeitung reported, Panerai plans to open a store at Bahnhofstrasse 25. The aim is to "cultivate the brand", company boss Jean-Marc Pontroué is quoted as saying.
To date, the watch brand has operated boutiques in Geneva, Lucerne and St. Moritz, as well as a store in Neuchâtel that is affiliated with the watch factory. In Zurich, Panerai's high-priced sports watches could not be purchased in its own store until now, but only from dealers. (ah)
