Vita Joint Foundation invests in Ilanz
The Vita Collective Foundation is investing in an assisted living project in Ilanz (GR). The investment volume is CHF 43 million.
In Ilanz (GR), an eleven-story building is being constructed on a 4,500 sqm site.
Multi-generation house with 61 apartments built. A further 16 apartments as well as surgeries and office space with a total usable area of around 2,600 square meters are being created through the renovation of the former Dominican convent next door. The basic services include emergency services; in addition, tenants can order catering, cleaning and laundry services from the tenants, for example.
According to the Vita Joint Foundation, the investment volume of the overall project amounts to around CHF 43 million. The planned occupancy date is October 1, 2021.
Nocasa Baumanagement in Chur is responsible for project development and realization. The sale was accompanied by Adatta Immobilien Zug. Giovanni Sena (MRICS), Head Transaction Management Real Estate at Zurich Invest, was responsible for the acquisition and due diligence.
The strategy of the Vita Joint Foundation is to offer affordable living space combined with support services for the time after retirement. "The residential project in Ilanz underlines our commitment to the development and design of future living spaces and thus our concern to provide targeted support to the municipalities in their care mandate and to realize needs-based offerings together with them and other local partners," says Doris Neuhäusler, Project Manager Strategic Real Estate Projects.
Back in spring 2018, the Vita Collective Foundation in Bazenheid (SG) invested around 46 million in a housing project for the time after retirement.
Vita Joint Foundation was established by Zurich in 2004 as a semi-autonomous collective foundation. According to its own information, around 21,000 companies with a total of 125,000 insured persons are affiliated to it. (ah)
