Horgen: Green light for Realstone project
Realstone has received the building permit for the Horgen Oberdorf site. The RDF Realstone Development Fund wants to build a residential and commercial development there.
A total of 211 rental apartments and commercial space are being built on the Horgen Oberdorf site according to a project by Galli Rudolf Architekten.
In the first stage, 77 rental apartments ranging in size from 2.5 to 5.5 rooms with a view over Lake Zurich will be built on the "Park" site. In the second construction phase, a further 134 rental apartments with 1.5 to 4.5 rooms are planned on the "Platz" site, as well as a commercial area of 770 sqm. The Oberdorfbach and Rubschbach streams along the construction sites will be revitalized and complement the outdoor space.
The areas are to be marketed from autumn of this year. The rental apartments on the "Park" site are expected to be ready for occupation from winter 2020, the apartments and commercial space on the "Platz" site a year later. According to Realstone, the apartments are in the mid-price segment and meet the requirements of the Minergie standard. A pedestrian walkway is planned from the site with a direct connection to the Horgen Oberdorf SBB station.
In the immediate vicinity of the station is the other "Fabrik" building site, for which a study contract was recently completed. (ah)
