Berne: City of Berne plans development in Tiefenau district
On a municipal site in Reichenbachstrasse in the Tiefenau district, the city of Bern is planning a development with over 100 apartments.
The Fund for Land and Housing Policy of the City of Bern wants to build a superstructure with 104 apartments for cost rent on the site of the former nursing education center at Reichenbachstrasse 118. The building project is to be recognized as a 2,000-watt site and has now received initial certification as a "2,000-watt site in development".
The voters of Bern are expected to vote on the investment credit for the residential project in the first half of 2020. If they approve the project, completion can be expected in the first half of 2023. (ah)
