Sedrun: Project "4 Peaks" failed

Spectrum Sedrun Investment AG cannot realise its building project on the site of the former "Oberalp" hotel in Sedrun. The refusal of the municipality of Tujetsch not to extend the building permit granted in 2012 is legally binding.

Four buildings with a hotel, studios and second homes were envisaged in the "4 Peaks" project that Spectrum Sedrun Investment AG, a subsidiary of Zug-based Prime Elements Holding, wanted to realise on the site of the demolished "Oberalp" hotel in Sedrun. The construction plans were approved by the municipality of Tujetsch back in 2012, but the start of construction was a long time coming; ultimately, the municipality of Tujetsch refused to extend the building permit for the project to the company. An appeal by Spectrum against this decision was rejected by the Graubünden Administrative Court in January of this year - a decision that has now been confirmed by the Federal Court in Lausanne. The project has thus finally failed. (bw)
