Rapperswil: Gasthof Ochsen to be auctioned off

According to local media reports, the Gasthof Ochsen will be auctioned off at the end of November. The property includes a restaurant, a pizzeria, a large hall, as well as six hotel rooms and eight apartments.

How, among other things, the Bernese newspaper with reference to a publication in the official gazette, the private sale of the Gasthof Ochsen in Rapperswil (BE) has failed. The bankruptcy office Seeland therefore intends to auction the property at the end of November. The value of the property is estimated at around CHF 2.9 million. It belongs to the portfolio of the bankrupt Fritonex AG.

The Ochsen is a listed building and around 125 years old. Fritonex renovated the building and wanted to use it as a residential and cultural center, but these plans fell through. Last year, Fritonex went bankrupt. (ah)
