Zurich: Globus at Bellevue is being renovated
According to a media report, PSP Swiss Property wants to completely renovate its property at Theaterstrasse 12 in Zurich, where Globus am Bellevue is currently located.
Like the Tages-Anzeiger reports, PSP Swiss Property is planning a complete renovation of the building. The technology is outdated and the company wants to renew the building envelope, a company spokesman told the newspaper. The work is expected to begin in 2023 and last several months.
Globus occupies three floors in the property, while other tenants include Active Fitness and Mobilezone. In total, the property comprises 6,600 sqm, one third of which is office space.
According to the newspaper report, the leases with Globus and the other tenants expire at the end of 2022. It is not yet clear whether the department store group and the other companies will move back in after the refurbishment. Globus am Bellevue is considered to be highly frequented, with the "Food Hall" on the first floor being particularly popular. (ah)
