According to Zurich Airport, Zurich-based startup Westhive will operate the platform in the "Education & Knowledge" module. The module comprises 3,000 square meters for educational offerings, the centerpiece being the MindHub, a multifunctional space for seminars, meetings and workshops.

Furthermore, a Swiss family business will open a daycare center and Kieser Training a fitness studio. Coop will be represented by the Italian format Sapori d'Italia - a delicatessen including a lounge. Globus will open a concept store on just under 700 square meters.

Edelweiss is one of the new office tenants. The airline will relocate its headquarters to The Circle, according to a statement from Zurich Airport, and has rented around 2,000 square meters for the purpose. Swiss information technology company Inventx will also relocate its Zurich office to the airport, and Lunge Zurich will open an office and a consulting office with a total of 35 employees.

The Circle will be occupied in stages from the middle of next year: Most of the brand houses and restaurants will open on September 1, 2020, as will the Hyatt Regency Zurich Airport The Circle hotel and the Convention Centre. Some office tenants will move into their space earlier, for example Flughafen Zürich AG will move its new headquarters into The Circle as early as April 2020. The opening of the USZ outpatient health center and the second Hyatt Place Zurich Airport/The Circle hotel will take place by the end of 2020. (ah)
