Winterthur: Foundation stone laid for Swiss Life project
The foundation stone for the KIM Inno-Living residential and commercial development was laid in Winterthur's Neuhegi district. Implenia is realizing the building for Swiss Life.
KIM Inno-Living will have seven full floors and one attic floor, whereby the property will be realized as a timber construction from the second floor upwards. There will be 200 apartments or around 17,000 sqm of leasable space, and around 900 sqm are also planned for public-oriented uses on the first floor.
Implenia developed the project, which is being realized according to a design by BDE Architects, and sold to Swiss Life in June of this year. Minergie-P certification is being sought for the property; among other things, a roof-mounted photovoltaic system is being built. Completion and occupation are planned for spring 2022.
In the Neuhegi district of Winterthur, Implenia is also developing and building the neighboring Sue&Til project, the largest residential development made of wood in Switzerland. (ah)
