How first Centralplus reported, a café-restaurant with 100 seats on 300 sqm is being built at Zürichstrasse 4 in Lucerne, in the former premises of a shoe shop.

The coffee shop called Jacs, which stands for "Just another Coffee Shop", reportedly wants to focus on Swissness and sustainability. The take-away materials would be completely compostable and the products used would come almost exclusively from Switzerland, cites Centralplus the managing director Roland Rillig.

As Rillig further tells the newspaper, the concept is to be implemented "one day" throughout Switzerland. The location in Lucerne on Zürichstrasse will be the first store in a public location. In Basel, a cooperation with Spaces is planned: One wants to take over the catering at locations of the coworking provider. (ah)
