Wädenswil: AuPark takes next hurdle
The Intershop AuPark project in Wädenswil is one step further. The population has approved the private design plan for the site.
The AuPark development is to be built on the former Aucenter site in Wädenswil. According to Intershop and, 200 new apartments, a supplementary neighborhood supply and a cantonal school for the left bank of Lake Zurich are planned. A public park with a playground is to be created in the center of the site.
In the referendum, the voters of Wädenswil approved the private design plan for the site. This and the associated partial revision of the land use planning must now be examined and approved by the Canton of Zurich's building authorities. (ah)
