Spreitenbach: Building permit for Tivoli Garden
According to various media reports, Migros Aare has been granted a building permit for the large-scale Tivoli Garten project.
How among other things SRF reports, the municipality of Spreitenbach (AG) has granted Migros Aare a building permit for the "Tivoli Garten" development. Migros Aare has not yet confirmed this. According to SRF, this is because the building permit is not yet legally binding.
The Tivoli Garten development is to be built near the Shoppi Tivoli and, according to the plans of Harder Haas Partner, will comprise two high-rise buildings of up to 20 stories with a total of 422 rental apartments of various sizes. The first floor will house the Limmattalbahn stop and an Obi DIY store.
The project has been delayed for years because of a legal dispute about the size of the perimeter for the necessary environmental impact report. From the point of view of the VCS, Migros Aare as the project developer planned too many parking spaces and took the matter all the way to the Federal Court. With success: The municipality of Spreitenbach had to reissue the design plan and the environmental impact assessment for the construction project. (ah)
