Spreitenbach: No to the CS Neumatt project

The municipal assembly of Spreitenbach has rejected the large-scale Neumatt project. The Credit Suisse fund Interswiss and Losinger Marazzi were planning a quarter with high-rise residential buildings.

The amendment of the building and use regulations, without which the Neumatt project cannot be realized, did not find a majority at the Spreitenbach municipal assembly on Jan. 14.

According to a study order Credit Suisse Real Estate Fund Interswiss as land owner and Losinger Marazzi as developer wanted to build, among other things, two narrow double high-rise buildings on several construction sites. A total of around 600 apartments were planned, some of them as condominiums.

A referendum may be lodged against the decision of the municipal assembly. (ah)
