Intershop announced that its subsidiary SGI City Immobilien will submit the building application for the construction of a new assembly hall on its site in the Neuhegi industrial park. The hall is to be built on a land area of around 13,000 sqm.

It has been agreed that Stadler will lease the building on a long-term basis, Intershop added. The new building is scheduled to go into operation at the beginning of 2022.

Both parties would have the right to withdraw from the lease agreement if circumstances arise during the planning and approval process that would prevent the building project from being economically viable, the statement continues. (ah)
