Zurich: Microsoft leases further office space in the city center
Thanks to a flexible lease agreement, Microsoft Switzerland was able to expand its office presence at the Talstrasse 9 location in Zurich. SPG Intercity Zurich negotiated the lease on behalf of the IT company.

Microsoft Switzerland, which is currently headquartered in Wallisellen and will be based in the new airport building "The Circle" from 2021, commissioned SPG Intercity Zurich AG in 2019 to search for central office premises in Zurich. Important criteria for the rapidly developing technology company were the proximity to Zurich's universities and the possibility to grow flexibly at the new location.
At Talstrasse 9, in the middle of Zurich's central business district, SPG Intercity was able to lease a suitable space for the client. During the lease negotiations, SPG Intercity also obtained the right of first refusal for the lease of additional space. Microsoft Switzerland has now been able to take over this space, which means that the Microsoft location at Talstrasse 9 now covers a total of around 600 square meters. (bw)
