Bern: Migros plans climbing hall at Westside

The Bernese newspaper reports, that Migros Aare wants to expand the range of leisure uses at Westside and is planning a new building for this purpose. A corresponding building application was submitted to the city of Bern at the beginning of April and will be published soon. The climbing hall will be aimed at both amateur climbers and top athletes and will open in late fall 2021 at the earliest.

Migros did not comment on the cost of the project. According to the report, it is also unclear whether Migros will operate the hall itself. (ah)
