In Andermatt Reuss, the construction cranes continue to turn. In July 2020, S+B Baumanagement AG, Steinhausen-Zug, will begin construction of the Alma and Frame buildings, whose combined construction volume amounts to a double-digit million sum, according to ASA Andermatt Swiss Alps AG. Patrick Zwyssig, co-owner and managing director of S+B Baumanagement, cites the fact that his company's first construction site in Andermatt is located at an altitude of over 1,400 meters above sea level, in addition to the "sporting deadlines", as a particular challenge of the project.

S+B Baumanagement is known for the implementation of various construction projects on the Suurstoffi site in Rotkreuz (including the Aglaya garden tower) or the new construction and conversion of the Schindler Campus Ebikon. S+B also leads the Roche pRED Innovation Center in Basel as Construction Manager in the planning consortium SB+IB with Itten+Brechbühl.

According to ASA, the apartment buildings are intended to appeal to different target groups. At Haus Alma on the western edge of Andermatt Reuss, the elevator leads directly into the apartment. The interior design is exclusive and each apartment has large panoramic windows with a view of the Bäzberg and the Reuss River. Common areas include the entrance area with seating, a sauna and a wellness area.

The concept of the house Frame envisage smaller units positioned in a star shape around the staircase to guarantee an optimum of daylight. A multifunctional unit in the apartments is a bed, bathroom, kitchen and storage space at the same time. The raised ceiling gives the room a spacious feel. The predominant materials are wood, steel and glass; the living area has large windows and the bay windows with sitting areas can be converted into a guest bed. On the garden floor there will be a common room and a sauna. (bw)
