Work on The Circle, currently Switzerland's largest building construction project, is nearing completion. The joint owners' association comprising Flughafen Zürich AG (51%) and Swiss Life (49%) anticipates a delay of two to three months in the completion and commissioning of individual uses.

A first moving date has already taken place: Flughafen Zürich AG has had its new headquarters there since May. However, due to the current situation caused by the Covid 19 pandemic and the associated restrictions, most of the 600 employees of Flughafen Zürich AG who do not work in frontline operations continue to work from their home offices.

The airport operator's new "home base" has the address "The Circle 16, 8058 Zurich Airport" and is located right next to the streetcar stop, bus station and airport shopping. The office concept includes co-working spaces; meeting zones and lounges replace fixed structures and permanently assigned desks. According to the company, other tenants in the Circle - including Raiffeisen, MSD, Microsoft, SAP, Isolutions and Itelligence AG - will also be present with forward-looking workplace concepts. (bw)
