Hiag acquires land in the Lausanne area
Site developer Hiag has taken over an approximately 22,000 sqm site in Bussigny (VD) from the Edipresse Group.

Hiag has acquired three contiguous plots of land with a total area of 22,319 sqm from the Edipresse Group. The site is located in an industrial area and is adjacent to the new warehouse and logistics building of the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG) and the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois (CHUV). A mixed commercial/industrial, warehouse/logistics and research and development project will be developed at the site, Hiag says. The search for anchor users has already begun.
The site developer sees a "high attractiveness of the site on the market" due to the location of these properties in the heart of the Lake Geneva region, in the immediate vicinity of the Bussigny train station and the freeway access roads. The west of Lausanne is currently growing strongly, as shown by the development of the municipality of Bussigny, the Bussigny-Ouest PPA with 2,800 residential units under construction, and the Mochettaz PPA.
