HRS and real estate investment trust Turidomus acquired the Stöcklin site on April 29, 2020, according to an HRS statement - along with a neighborhood plan that became legally effective in late January 2020.

The 35,000 sqm former industrial site is to be developed with apartments, services and commerce. According to HRS, the site is "in a prime location" - directly on the banks of the River Birs and within walking distance of the historic centre of Dornachbrugg.

HRS plans to build around 120 condominiums in two residential towers; Turidomus is also planning a high-rise residential building. Here 140 rental apartments are planned, as well as service and commercial space. According to the announcement, part of the site will remain the property of Stöcklin AG for the time being. At a later date, it will sell it to Senevita AG, which plans to operate a retirement and nursing home on the site.

The buildings for Turidomus and Senevita are also being developed, planned and realised by HRS. The construction projects are currently being planned together with four architectural firms, HRS added. The submission of the building applications is planned for this year. The sale of the condominiums is to begin in the winter. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2021. (ah)
