Global biopharmaceutical company MSD Merck Sharp & Dohme AG, which already opted for 4,300 sq. ft. of office space in The Circle late last year, has now leased an additional 2,800 sq. ft. of space.
The new destination at Zurich Airport convinced MSD because of its community spirit and synergies with other tenants, according to SPG Intercity Zurich, the real estate services provider acting for the ownership of The Circle (Flughafen Zürich AG and Swiss Life AG) in the leasing process. In addition, MSD chose The Circle to offer employees, customers and partners a future-oriented work environment in Switzerland's best-connected location. Based on positive feedback and high demand from employees, MSD decided to expand the space, he said.
This means that the building on Südplatz with a total of 25,000 sqm of office space is fully leased. Meanwhile, according to SPG Intercity, only around 16,000 sqm of office space is still available in the "Headquarters & Offices" module, including small and large spaces in central locations. (bw)
