Bucher site in Burgdorf to be built over
The so-called Bucherareal in Burgdorf (BE) is to be built over with three residential buildings.

As can be seen from the building application for the project, the Abendrot Foundation - Pension Fund from Basel and Asari Immobilien from Zug are planning three new buildings and an extension to the existing Shedhalle on the Bucher site between Gotthelfstrasse, Gysnauweg and Polieregasse.
There will be 62 apartments, nine residential studios, a cluster with eight residential units, two joker rooms and a community room. Two parking garages with a total of 55 parking spaces are also planned, and the surrounding area will be redesigned with a large playground, among other things.
The project authors are LVPH Architectes from Fribourg and Reinhardpartner from Bern; Halter AG Gesamtleistungen acts as representative with power of attorney.
The building application is open to the public until June 29. Construction of the new buildings could start in the fall of this year; they should be ready for occupancy in 2022.
The Abendrot Foundation previously renovated the listed building of the former Bucher & Co. wool twisting mill on the site; as part of the final stage, the shed roof and the facade of the factory annex were renewed at the beginning of 2020. (ah)
