Start of construction for SIPLO project in Plan-les-Ouates
Losinger Marazzi is realizing the SIPLO / Campus Innovation project in Plan-les-Ouates (GE).
At the end of June, Losinger Marazzi announced that it had signed a general contractor agreement with Caisse Inter-Entreprises de Prévoyance Professionnelle (CIEPP) for the SIPLO / Campus Innovation project.
The plan is to build two new buildings on a total area of 53,725 square meters, which will be used by the associations of the Fédération Romande des Entreprises (FER) on behalf of the CIEPP for vocational training in the industrial and craft sectors.
According to Losinger Marazzi, work on the redevelopment of the plot has already begun and building permits are in force. The construction work is expected to take around 32 months. The interior finishes still need to be defined in a contract addendum; this should be agreed by the beginning of 2021.
Losinger Marazzi won the contract by direct award, resulting from a collaboration with developer Concordo. CIEPP is a regular client of Losinger Marazzi, according to the company. (ah)
