Start of construction for Grace development in Meggen
On July 14, the foundation stone was laid for a new Mobimo project. A residential and commercial development is being built in Meggen (LU).
According to plans by Scheitlin Syfrig Architekten, 30 apartments in condominium ownership as well as commercial space are being built at the eastern entrance to the village of Meggen with the Grace development. Ten of the residential units (2.5 to 5.5 rooms) are spread over three residential buildings, which have the same building volume and fit in well with the surroundings.
The 350 sqm of commercial space is located in a single-story building that will be constructed on Gotthardstrasse in the southern part of the site; it is clearly visible along the main street. Above the roof of the commercial building - the first terrace of the development - a garden landscape with private outdoor spaces and a communal open space will be created.
The high-quality apartments offer views of the mountain panorama and Lake Lucerne. According to Mobimo, 40% of the apartments and all commercial space have been reserved just a few months after the marketing launch. The spaces are expected to be ready for occupancy in the first quarter of 2022. (ah)
