Wädenswil: realisation of the AuPark draws closer
Intershop Holding intends to submit the building application for the AuPark development in Wädenswil (ZH) this year. The private design plan has now become legally binding.
Intershop wants to build the AuPark district on the site of the current AuCenter in Au-Wädenswil on Lake Zurich. The plans include a cantonal school for the left bank of Lake Zurich, around 200 condominiums and rental apartments, and commercial space for a neighborhood supply system. In the middle of the development, a large public park with a playground is planned as a connecting element and meeting zone.
After the public announcement, there was no appeal to the Building Appeals Court, so the design plan for the project has become legally binding. According to Intershop, this means that the last condition of the land purchase agreement with the canton of Zurich has also been fulfilled. However, ownership of the partial parcel of around a quarter of the overall site cannot be transferred until, among other things, the building has been dismantled, which requires approval. (ah)
