Opfikon: Two high-rise buildings in planning
In Opfikon (ZH) near Glattpark, the "When Harry Met Sally" development is to be built with apartments, hotel and student rooms as well as commercial space.
How first the Zürcher Unterländer reported, two high-rise buildings are to be built at Thurgauerstrasse 103, where the Renault garage is currently located near Glatt Park. According to the media report, the developer is investing Patrimonium Commercial Opportunity AG around CHF 75.2 million in the project.
The buildings are to be 40 and 48 meters high, respectively, and will include 140 residential units, 127 hotel rooms and another 384 rooms for student accommodation. Commercial space will be located on the first floors. The development will have a total of 268 parking spaces, 244 of which will be in an underground collective garage.
Construction is scheduled to begin in May 2021 and be completed in January 2025. (ah)
