Worblaufen: Start of construction for new Hammerwerk building project
The foundation stone for the new Hammerwerk building project was laid in the municipality of Worblaufen (BE) on 19 August 2020. In around two years, the first residents should be able to move into the historic site directly on the banks of the Aare.

Between former industry and nature, new condominiums are currently being built in the municipality of Worblaufen near Ittigen as part of the Hammerwerk project. Adjacent to the disused historic hammer mill, five six-storey point buildings are being constructed with two-storey connecting buildings in between; once completed, they will offer a residential mix of studios and 2.5- to 5.5-room apartments. With the exception of the studios, all apartments have covered, south-facing terraces or balconies with views of the Aare.
The foundation stone for Halter AG's project was laid on 19 August; according to the current schedule, the buildings should be ready for occupation in spring 2022. (bw)
