Bern: SV Group opens extended-stay hotel Stay Kooook
In Bern's up-and-coming Wankdorf district, the SV Group opened its first self-developed hotel concept "Stay KooooK", designed for extended-stay guests. The investor in the hotel property is Mobiliar.
At the beginning of September, Mobiliar as investor and SV Group as operator opened the first Stay KooooK hotel in Bern Wankdorf. The hotel concept developed by the SV Group is aimed at business and leisure travellers who want to spend a certain amount of time (extended-stay) in Bern. "Stay KooooK is ideal for city centres where space is at a premium," says Beat Kuhn, Managing Director of SV Hotel, the hotel division of SV Group. With the new brand, the SV Group is closing a gap in demand, because extended-stay does not yet exist in this form in Bern.
The Stay Kooook in Bern Wankdorf comprises 59 studios (22 sqm) and three Family Studios (45 sqm), all with kitchenette, bathroom, workstation and speakers with Bluetooth connection. Sliding living elements allow the space to be adapted to guests' needs. The booking and check-in/check-out process is mobile phone compatible throughout; access to the building and the studios is via a specially developed web app. (bw)
