Basel: Investment Foundation 1291 buys residential portfolio

1291 Swiss Investment Foundation has acquired seven centrally located residential properties in Basel-Stadt.

According to 1291 Swiss Investment Foundation, it has purchased an "attractive, highly profitable" residential portfolio with a total of 187 apartments and smaller fabric areas. The properties are fully rented and are located in very well developed areas. According to 1291, the target rental income amounts to around CHF 2.9 million per year; the gross yield is put at around 4%. With the acquisition, the real estate portfolio of the investment foundation grows by 74 million.

Just at the beginning of September, the investment foundation carried out a capital increase and raised 100 million.

The ordinary investors' meeting on September 16, 2020 unanimously approved all proposals of the Board of Trustees. Among other things, a distribution of CHF 2.50 per unit was resolved, to be made on September 22, 2020.
